Triad Select™ — Selective Broadleaf Herbicide

Triad Select is a three-way selective herbicide built to take down the broadleaf weeds that are notoriously hard to kill — dandelion, clover, and plantain among them. It combines three active ingredients (2,4-D, MCPA, and dicamba) into a single liquid concentrate, giving it broader coverage than a single-active product would on its own.

It’s labeled for use on turf, sod farms, rights-of-way, and other non-crop industrial areas, and works across both cool- and warm-season grasses — making it a versatile option regardless of region or turf type. University trials have backed its effectiveness, and it also carries a FIFRA 2(ee) recommendation specifically for doveweed control, a notoriously persistent warm-season weed.

A few practical features worth noting:

• Three-way active combination: Pairs the strengths of 2,4-D, MCPA, and dicamba (each an auxin mimic, HRAC Group 4) for broad-spectrum broadleaf control.
• Low-odor formulation: A more pleasant application experience compared to some older phenoxy-based herbicides, with flexible rate options to match the weed pressure.
• Tank-mix compatible: Can be combined with liquid fertilizers or liquid iron products, helping streamline maintenance programs (always check the label for specific compatibility).
• Woody brush suppression: Beyond broadleaf weeds, it can also be applied to woody brush in non-cropland settings.
